Susan
Before joining the Pediatric Dental Center of Avon, Susan spent twelve years at an elementary school, dedicating her time to nurturing her daughter and fostering a love for education. Motivated by her lifelong passion for healthcare and children, Susan embarked on a career in dental assisting. After completing her training at Valley Medical Institute, Susan earned her certification as a Dental Assistant and became a cherished member of our team in 2011.
Susan shares her enthusiasm for her role: “I love coming to the office every day. Dr. Cosgrove and Dr. Allen are dedicated to providing the best care. They know just how to explain everything in a way that children understand, making their visit to the dental office a positive experience. It is truly rewarding to be part of a team that provides excellent care while making each visit as fun and easy as possible.”
Outside of work, Susan enjoys reading, cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Chris Cosgrove
Chris Cosgrove joined Pediatric Dental Center of Avon in May of 2017, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous 23-year tenure at Hartford Life Insurance in Connecticut. At Hartford Life, Chris handled a wide range of responsibilities, from processing customer requests to crafting procedure and training documentation and managing reference intranet sites. With a degree in English from the University of Connecticut, Chris is well-equipped to understand and enhance the business facets of pediatric dentistry.
Chris enjoys the balance of professional and personal life, spending quality time both at the office and home with his wife, daughter, son, dog, and cat. His commitment to the practice and his family highlights the values at the core of Pediatric Dental Center of Avon: family-centered care and professional excellence.
